Carpentry is an essential skill on any project.
Traditional British house building techniques require a lot of the fabrication work to be done on site. So the quality of floors, roofs, partitions and other timber based structures is dependent on the skills of the carpenter.
At CGH we take great pride in all the details of any job. If it’s a first fix roof or floor joists to a brand new kitchen or simply hanging a door our attention to detail remains the same. A bespoke set of wardrobes or something fashioned from some old beams, with time and care the finished article can really add a new dimension.
You can see from the images, the pitched roof incorporating steel work to give a partially vaulted internal ceiling, and the stepped box gutter detail all require the careful application of carpentry skills in order for the end result to work.
